This page shows my own items for sale. All prices quoted are excluding delivery. Some heavier items still can be sent by courier, but due to their weight, it may be wise for the buyer to collect instead. Each item shall show approx weight of item(s) and estimated costs of delivery. Note that this is standard unsecured (not insured) delivery. Insurance can be included for the item(s) if the buyer so wishes at his/her cost.

Payment Details:
Payments can now be done live on-line via a UK on-line payment company www.nochex.co.uk. Non Nochex members can send money to other nochex members up to £100 without singing up. Each Debit Card payment (transaction) incurs a 99p surcharge and Credit Card payment (transaction) incurs a 2%+20p surcharge. Any amounts over £100 you'll have to sign up to be a member with Nochex. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. This is still cheaper than Paypal.

Vauxhall Cavalier GLi, 2L 8v, 4dr saloon

Yep, my very own Cavalier is up for sale, I no longer need a large 2L engine as I've moved house and work is a lot closer, I'm now after a smaller engine car. So the 2L Cav is up for sale.

• J Reg (1992) Vauxhall Cavalier GLi with 5-speed manual gearbox.

Set of 4 Vauxhall 13" 4-stud Wheels with Tyres

Vauxhall 4-stud wheels with tyres, PCD 4x100, et46, 5.5x13" rims. All have 175/70R13 tyres which are speed rating 82T all from different manufactures. MABOR M70, ROAD CHAMP, MONTANA M800 x 2, all legal tread, 2 have very good tread. £40 for the set fo 4.

Vauxhall 5-stud 'Fan-type', 16" Alloys with tyres

4 x Standard 16" alloys (as fitted to Cavalier), fan type with 4 good tyres, 5-stud, 49mm offset (et49), PCD 110, a few minor scuffs on alloys, very clean. Pirelli P6000, 205/50ZR16 87W tyres, lots of tread left, worth it for the tyres alone. Will fit ANY 5-stud Vauxhall car.

Nova GTE ported/flowed head

Vauxhall Nova GTE (E16SE), 1.6L 8v ported and flowed head, 3 angle seat valve seats cut (see pictures on the left, you can see the marks left behind by the seat cutting tool), inlet valve guides cut down for flow, inlet ports ported and flowed, 8 valves included with springs and collets, new oil stem seals, 6000 miles used. Reason for sale is due to a engine conversion (2L 16v replacement).

Good condition, all square and true, not warped, no skimming required, all ready to be installed onto a block. The price also includes a free set of GM Nova GTE spark plugs too. Please note, the metal thermostat housing shown in the pictures is NOT included.

Please note that there are no receipts or paper work or results of the work done on this head. But work is evident by observation of the ports and seats.

All it will need are the hydraulic tappets, rocker arms and manifold bolts (which are swapped over from the original Nova GTE head that this will replace). For added reliability, new oil valve stem seals should be fitted.

Or even better, why not combine the ported/flowed head with a Nova Piper 270º camshaft which includes the rocker arms, all for £250! See below.

**Recondition Offer**
We can recondition this head prior to delivery. New oil valve stem seals will be installed along with each valve re-lapped in. The head will be also thoroughly degreased and cleaned. Digital pictures shall be taken of the process to show the work done. For this service (labour and parts), add £20 to the final bill. For labour only (i.e. customer supplies parts), add £10 to the final bill.

Vauxhall Calibra Steering Wheel (non air bag)

Vauxhall Calibra steering wheel, as fitted to non air bag cars. This wheel should fit almost any Vauxhall as the fitment boss are the same (but I have never tried it!).

Vauxhall CAT replacement pipe

This is a CAT replacement pipe for Vauxhall Calibra 2L 16v C20XE (redtop) engines. This was fitted to my 1993 (K reg) Calibra. This pipe also fitted my 1992 Cavalier 2L 8v car too. The pipe is 2" in diameter (external bore) and terminates in a 2-hole oval flange plate, and the other ends in 3-hole triangular flange plate.

Vauxhall Calibra Turbo Standard Intercooler

This is the standard intercooler as fitted to a Vauxhall Calibra Turbo (C20LET) engines. It may even be the same item as fitted to Vauxhall Cavalier Turbo (C20LET) engines.

Please note that I have never used the intercooler and hence do not know if the core has holes in it etc. Observing the outside of the matrix, it looks in fair condition.

Vauxhall 5-speed F20, manual gearbox with LSD

This is a 5-speed gearbox that was fitted to my 2L 16v Vauxhall Calibra (1993).

The gearbox is in good condition, never crunched in gears but has the big plus of having LSD (ATB) installed in it. I've NEVER used it since the LSD (retail RRP £640 for Vauxhall F20 gearbox) has been installed (by www.v-tuning.co.uk). For more details on what the LSD ATB is and what it does, see Quaife website.

This engine was originally fitted in my Calibra but since the water pump decided to seize up on me I bought a C20LET engine instead and intended to put my old C20XE and F20 (with LSD) into my Nova GTE. But plans have changed and I need garage space.

All that it needs to get it up and running is to put in fresh new gearbox oil (supplied, Dextron II, two GM 1L bottles). The gearbox includes the rear and nearside engine mount and rubber blocks and the 5-speed gear linkage. However it has the F28 gear linkage bracket!

Aftermarket Steering Wheel (non air bag)

Aftermarket 'Sport' steering wheel, made by Dino (or Dimo) in Italy, black, imitation leather, 3 spoke, integrated centre horn switch, looks similar to Momo Sport (non air bag). Includes fitting kit and boss.

This wheel should fit almost any Vauxhall as the fitment boss are the same (but I have never tried it!), this particular model came off a Nova.

Piper Cams 270º for Nova

A Piper 270 (road cam) for Vauxhall Nova GTE and GSi engines. The cam shaft is currently in a Nova GSi camshaft housing with new camshaft oil seal. The piper camshaft can be installed in a Nova GTE housing if you wish. The camshaft has had approx 6000 miles use, in good condition, new oil seal fitted and comes with rocker arms which were used with this camshaft (typically £4 ea). All rocker arms are numbered so they can be fitted directly into your Nova engine.

When installed in my Nova GTE, the engine idled fine, no lumpy running and it could idle with no problems. Full benefit of the modification was evident when the throttle is opened up, or even better, combine the piper cams with a ported and flowed Nova GTE cylinder head above!

NOTE: if you intend to use the Nova GSi camshaft housing on anything else apart from a GSi, DON'T. Unless you have a timing gun. The pip to line up the dizzy is different on non-dizzy engines and hence the timing is incorrect and detonation in the engine is bad.

Astra Digital Dash + Transducer

Vauxhall Astra GTE digital dash/clocks including the gearbox speedo transducer (AK ident, 16 pulses) and loom/connectors. Everything you need to install this into a Nova. Or it will be a direct replacement for a broken digital dash in an Astra GTE.

However I don't know if this unit is the early or late digital dash (ie the speedo graphic is a bit different). I've never used and never powered it up. The digital dash unit has GM P/N 90 360 207. It has 128759 miles on the clock. Speedo display can be switched between km/h and mph via front switch.

Astra Electric Heated Wing Mirrors

A pair of metallic dark blue, electric heater wing mirrors off a Astra MK3. It also includes the connector on the loom too. The internals can be fitted to Nova wing mirrors and some DIY electronic connections to make it work. The mirrors also include the 4-way joystick so you have total control on the mirrors position too.

Chrome Number Plate Backing Plates

These are a pair of aluminum chrome affect backing plates for number plates. These should fit on standard bumpers where the number plate screws onto. It will give a chrome border to your number plates, good for car shows etc.

Note: on some aftermarket bumpers, the recess built for number plates may be too small for these plates to fit into (like mine, hence why I'm selling them).

Vauxhall -60mm springs, set of 4

These are made by Chassis Dynamics. They are -60mm drop springs for 2L 16v C20XE (redtop) Vauxhall Calibra. However they should also fit any model of Calibra and possibly Cavalier (as they all share the same shock absorber).

They have had about 4 years worth of use so they may drop a bit lower than -60. See picture on the left how low my Calibra used to sit (with 17" alloys). I've since completely replaced the suspension on my Calibra hence do not these lowering springs any longer.
